Drills:
We have sourced adapters for angle grinders which are moderately priced and
easily available. These grinders generally run at 12,000 RPM and will make
drilling your logs much faster and easier. Adaptors fit a 5/8" diameter spindle
-- generally 41/2" long and 11 threads per inch. They have been designed to fit
any make or model of angel grinder.
The adapters will screw into your grinder and will take a drill bit on the
other side.
A drill bit with a depth stop (as shown in the picture) or a drill bit
as below will be suitable. The bits without a depth stop can be use a collar to
provide the depth stop.
